Gurin my One-Piece OC

- in her full dragon-form she can spit light-green fire -> very useful to hit Logia-type DF-users.

(It´s working like a haki-powered hits)

- much better defence through scales which helps her to perform “Tekkai” (iron mass) alot
- strong thorned tail for additional effective impacts
- through slim and flexible body-shape, good avoiding skills and performing “Kami-e” (paper drawing)
- nails are improoving Shigan (finger pistol) much more
- strong reptilian legs especially useful for Soru (shave), Rankyaku (Storm Leg) and Geppo (Moon-walk)
- animal-form allows to carry huge persons like Kumadori and Fukuro on her back (furry part between wings) while human-form can carry regulair sized persons for a flight and big ones for a "Geppo"-supported flight.
- dragon teeth belong to the hardes teeth. Combined with the strong jaw, she can bite trough almost anything.
- with the regulair increased five senses, the small whiskers of both transformd DF-forms helps her to percieve the surroundings weather
-> it´s highly required for a save flight when preventing to get into thunderstorms

Strenghs:
- through fruit-powers, a compleate power-boost of all Rokushiki-techniques and basic physical abilities are gained
- with the speed and avoiding-skills, she´s difficult to catch
- while flying in human-dragon form she can carry “normal sized persons” and in the animal form, Kumadori or Fukuro can ride on her back
- her incredible biting-power
- her rather strong lungs
- she can hold the breath for quite a long. (even longer after the "diving training")
- spiting fire for a long time isn´t difficult
- already in her childhood, she was quite a mistress when it come to a contest of seed-spitting
(But only the large distance/impact and not the acuracy like a real sniper)
-> today she occassionally uses seeds as bullets when just eaten a fruit

Weaknesses:
- like any other fruit-user she´s not able to swim and use her powers too
- same goes with direct contact with sea-stone
- when someone manages to get some water into her dragonish mouth, she can´t spit fire for a while either
- low defense and special difficulties to use “Tekkai” as a human.
(scales in dragon-form compense this lack much enough to “prevent Lucci to throw her out”)
- being a vegetarian, she struggles against the blooslust in her two DF-forms. After such a rush, she feels very sick through the taste of blood
- despise being able to transform into a dragon, Gurîn can´t really stand smoke in the human form.
(As a hybrid and even more as a pure dragon, fire, heat and smoke doesn´t affect her alot. But she´s not invinceable from these factors for sure. ^^)
- storms, thunderstorms, when she´s flying -> just like how the "regulair" flying-physics works
(Oda officially stated that rain doesn´t weaken a DF-user, since it´s more a "moving water"-type)

How the others are thinking about Gurîn:

Rob Lucci:
…if she wouldn´t had the devil-fruit´s power and the ability to really fly, I would have erased her for being too weak.
But surprisingly that woman makes a fast process by learing her newly gained powers.

Kaku:
She has a really great passion and determiantion to catch up with us all. Gurîn also seems to be a polite and fair person. Unlike a certain canine…>___>

Jyabura:
It´s way too hilarious how gentle-man-like Kumadori acts towards her. Why she even spends so much time whith this weirdo, when I can teach her a lot more about devil-fruits?…
Otherwise she never should AND would surpass me because I´m way too awesome.

Blueno:
A woman with a strange affection towards Kumadori. Oddly she´s thankful towards me after I´ve told her how I rescued my comrades. I guess it´s because of that pink-hair. He also reduced a lot of his annoying sucide-attemps through her…

Kumadori:
Yo-yooi~!!! Finaaaa~lly a sweet Cherry-blossooo~m admires the mightly liii~on yo-yooi! *shaking his mane*
Throuuu~gh her, I also leeeaa~rned to deal with my own gu-gu-guiii~lt and not committing Seppuku all the time. Yo-yooi!

Fukuro:
Chapapaaaa~! I know things about her, which the others don´t. Chappa!
She seems to not only fancy about Kumadori´s hair.
Chappapaah~…I won´t be surprized if she will reach the 1000th doriki soon when finished the training.

Kalifa:
Finally a second woman in this chaotic pile of men. (Such sexual harresments...) But she never would reach my sex-appeal! Although I have the impression that she´s caring about this much less than a woman normally should.

Wyn: (An OC of EmilySugarfruit which Gurîn had met during a RP)
She's a good friend of mine now. I wasn't sure of her at first, just as a natural reaction for me. but she's very down to earth, a little refreshing from Kalifas high maintenance ness. ( No offense kalifa, youre still awesome <3) I think she may have been surprised by my shortness because she seem puzzled to find out I was an ex agent.

How Gurîn thinks about the others:

Rob Lucci:
He´s truly fearsome! I really have not to show the slightiest sign of weakness or I may be killed. Luckily he still endours me because of my devil-fruit-powers.

Kaku:
A polite man, who also allows me to train with him. Most of my cutting-skills were taught by him.

Jyabura:
I really don´t like his competive behavior. He´s like a barking dog who can´t shup up - always being in a fight. And if Jyabura won´t stop to speak so poorly about Kumadori, I´ll have to shut up his dog-snout sooner or later!

Blueno:
A rather silent and rational person but without him, I wouldn´t had met Kumadori and the others.

Kumadori: (nicknamed as "Sh-Shi-Kun" by her XD)
Mostly thanks to him I´m still alive because he still can swim unlike the strongest of this group.
That´s why I feel the saviest near him than with the others, even most of them were stronger….
Another reason for this is his kind and compassionate personality under the "tough-lion"-layer.
It´s amazing that he´s not a devil-fruit-user but still have such unique skills. The only thing about I worry a lot is his frequent attempts to kill himself. Glad Kumadori uses his Tekkai in these situations. I really don´t want to lose him. QAQ So DON´T give him a pointed or sharp object!!!

Fukuro:
A really talkactive person. I wonder if that zipper is natural or was later added by an annoyed person? You better keep secrets away from that chatterbox…

Kalifa:
It´s good to have another woman in this group to whom I can talk.
(How surprizing similiar she´s looking like me..creepy!)
But her talking about a good apperiance annoys me sometimes.

Wyn:
From the beginning on I felt that there´s a chemistry with her. After thawing the rather cold shell, Wyn is a really nice person towards me. I was really suprized in which relationship she alread was with all the other members. Especially with Jyabura and Kaku. *giggles about the last named*
Anyways, thank you very much for defending me against Meany-dog...erm Jyabura and helping me out with the Tekkai.

The training-schedule of Gurîn and her results:

Rob Lucci:
- nothing
He believes that his own mercy that she can stay in the group is much enough.
She fears him too much for bothering.

Kaku:
- Rankyaku (Storm Leg) with good success

Jyabura:
- Tekkai (iron mass) with low success
Reasons for the bad results are the morely bad realtionsip between both and her difficulties to perform this defense as a human. Jyabura´s taunts during the training don´t help that much too.
-> after knwowing Wyn, she got help from her to improove the Tekkai to a more sufficient level.

Blueno:
- Kamie-e (paper drawing) with great success

Kumadori:
- main tutor with great success
- Shigan (finger pistol) with very good success
- bare body-control trough mediation with good success-> helps to endure more pain when “Tekkai” isn´t working well
- through being able to swim -> “diving lessons” to increase the time for holding the breath and get used to water even without moving with average success -> reducing hindering panick-attacks
- fire attacks with great success
He´s the only one who can make her stay in the low water by her own will.
Beeing the life-savior and “dragged her into the group”, Lucci ordered him to be responsible for Gurîn.

Fukuro:
- analytic thinking with average success
- Soru (shave) with great success
- basics for material arts with average success

Kalifa:
- basic leg-skills with good sucess
- Geppo (Moon-walk) with average success
- the exact advances and disadvances of a fruit-user
- fighting with the tail, because it resembles Kalifa´s whip with good success
The basic leg-training was required to learn Soru (shave), Rankyaku (Storm Leg) and Geppo (Moon-walk) in the later time.
The average Geppo (Moon-walk) can be compensed with Gurîn´s flying abilities.

The story of Gurîn:

Gurîn was linving in a small town called “Sarada Bôru-village (Salad bowl-village)” where many fruits are grown and exported. The favorite fruit, which Gurîn eats a lot, is a special version of a dragon-fruit. It only grows in the nearby area of the town. Unlike a normal version, the inner fruit-flesh is light-green instead of white or red. It also tastes much sweeter than an ordinary dragon-fruit.
One day, (she was around 25) when wanting this kind of fruit, she accidently cosumed a devil-fruit, which grew amongs the others. Totally ignoring the swirling patters, Gurîn was utterly confused about the very bad taste and threw away the rest in belief the fruit already was half rotten.

Over the night she noticed a weird changement about herself and after seeing the pointed nails and some scales on the arm, she realized that it may be a devil-fruit-power which she accidently gained through consuming that weird-tasting fruit.
Scared to death and without a clue what to do, she went to the town´s doctor at the early morning. He sadly confirms her fears and recommented to quickly learn how to control, better know and hold back these powers befor something bad may happen.
Thanks to her parents who still stucked to her, Gurîn wasn´t compleatly isolated.
At the same time her few friends (who were morely aquintance to her) either wandered or sailed away from this morely tranquil town. Gurîn didn´t really wanted to follow their paths in fear to easily drown through the devil-fruit.
With her abilities she wants serve as an additional protection for her hometown. It was occassionally raided by pirates and bandits, which were mostly fend off.
But one day again (she´s around 30) some pirates arrived in Sarada Bôru-village (Salad bowl-village) and wanted to plunder anything. As usual Gurîn used her abilities to fight against these pirates. But they turned out to be unexpectional strong and well organized.
Giving her parents the chance to escape, she finally was caughted by the pirates who also partly working a slave-sellers.
Guessing that selling her as a slave would be more worth than plundering this town, they took her with them.

While departing Sarada Bôru-village (Salad bowl-village) to the ocean, the saw an unknown ship. Hoping for more treasures, they planned to capture it.
For their big unluck, the ship was owned by the EX-CP9-members, who effortlessly defeated the pirates.
The capatin, still not wanting to give up but want to save the lives of his left crew-members, threw Gurîn into the water. After a short hestiating from the others what to do, Kumadori quickly jumped after her.
Pulling her out of the water, he returned to to ship.
All ExCP9-members believed, she was an ordinary woman, who almost felt to greedy hands by pirates/slave-sellers.
Although being still frighned about the narrow excape from the death and very tired from the whole stress, Gurîn was asked by Kaku, from where she comes from. He already suspected an nearby island and his thoughs were confirmed by Gurîn who shyly them to bring her back to her hometown.
The whole group was happy to rest for a while on solid ground after a several-week tour with the ship.

At evening they arrived at Sarada Bôru-village (Salad bowl-village).
The inhabiants noticed the new arrivers and with great surprize the shortly kidnapped Gurîn.
(Because of not knowing anything about the world´s news, the villegers didn´t exactly knew whe they have been in real.)
The villigers were really thankful to treat the Ex-CP9s as guests and offer a place to stay for a while.
Longer than planned (because nothing bad happened), they stood for around four weeks.
Except Lucci (who remains as a loner from the rest of the group) and the very brash-beahving Jyabura, Gurîn grew fond to the visitors.
(Jyabura hopes to have a new romance with Gurîn...not that I want to imply that my OC is attractive! Look at that guy, who was desperatly wanting Gyasarine! I guess in general he´s trying to be a ladykiller.)
Kaku and Lucci (as former ship-wrights) helped the village to construct a better defending-wall and tell them how to better fight against that kind of criminals. And Blueno taught the bar-keeper some delicous drinks, while Kalifa and Fukuro simply enjoyed the grateful people (which remind them on those at St. Poplar).
Gurîn spend the most time with Kuamdori. Not only he was the one who directly saved her from the water, but that he also shares a ceratin interest in flowers and trees with her. (Just remember HOW he´s speaking all the time!)
To him she firstly told about and has shown her devil-fruit-abilities, which were the real reason for the kidnap.
He realized in which mess she was dragged in and asked her how to live on with this problem after they´ll leave the village somday.
Gurîn realized that she was really lucky that the ExCP9-mebers arrived in just the right moment and she also has seen some of them transforming in animals too, which means they share a similiar power like she did.

After several restless nights full of swirling thoughs, Gurîn fianally came to the conclusion to askt the group to join.
She has seen that her beloved hometown now is more than able to defend itself. And with the ExCP9s, she would get the chance to travel around the world like her age-mates did some years ago. But through the ExCP9s, Gurîn also hoped to recieve a proper education to increase her devil-fruit-abilities, so no one will be able to simply kidnap her again. On only the "practical" things were reasons why she wants to join, but in general Gurîn also enjoyed the time spending with them.
(I still assume that after being "fired" most of them simply want to try a new start in the life as a morely citizen.)
Not daring to askt the whole group now, again she firstly shared her ideas with Kumadori to answer his question from some days ago.
Kumadori was pretty happy about her thoughs, because he saw in her a soul-mate, which he missed for such a long time.
(Yeah JUST a soul-mate! Nothing more..nothing less...okay...fluff-times is allowed... *shifty eyes*)
But he insisted to let the others know about her plans, just to be fair. As demanded but with some struggles, she did.

Finally founded the others, Gurîn was pretty nervous and unsure if they would listen to her request. Especially the cold-hearted looking Rob Lucci still frightened her a lot. Overcoming these fears by having Kumadori still at her side, she finally asked them to join.
As expected Lucci instantly disagreed to accept such a weakling, because no one except Kumadori knew about Gurîn´s devil-fruit-abilities.
Almost forgotten them she than has shown the abilities to the rest of the group, who were pretty surprized to meet a mythological fruit-user as such an ordinary looking woman.
Kaku as a fair-player, asked Gurîn more about the abilities like when and how she got them so he can confirm the others and himself about the decision.
Repeating her reasons why to join and after some hestiations they finally agreed to let her join.
A week before the department of the ExCP9, Gurîn told her parents and the other villigers about her plans, so everybody can prepare to say farewell in a good way.
Sure especially the parents were sad that their much caring daughter will leave soon. But they´re happy that she can start her own adventure and to master the devil-fruit-abilities.
Knowing some experts who can care about her properply also calmed them down alot.
With huge exchangements of gratitude from Gurîn, her parents and the inhabitants of Sarada Bôru-village (Salad bowl-village), she and the ExCP9s fianlly departed to the ocean.

In the first time she tried to avoid Lucci, in fear bothering him will cause a deathly kicking out from the group.
But times passed and Gurîn got used to Lucci strict manners. The other ones developed an effective training plan how to master the Rokushiki and how to control the devil-fruit-power in the most effective way. After around two years and beeing pretty eager, she quickly found out her streghtes and limits but also reached her 1000th doriki after Fukoru´s judgement.
Even she still had problems using Tekkai as a human, she discovered her specialities in the avoiding-skill “Kamie-e” (paper drawing) through having a flexible body.

When not training, she mostly sticks together with Kumadori remebering him as her life-savior and soul-mate. She´s mostly sitting on his right shoulder, because of knowing that he´s the only one who can protect her from the water and drowning. (I guess Fukuro isn´t a good swimmer through his weird body shape…) But she also feels pretty comfortable when laying in Kumadori´s mass amount of hair. Finally having an attantive “audience”, Kumadori enjoys to give perform short skits to her, which often caused a joyful converstaion.
One day when Kumadori suffered again a severe self-guilt-feeling, causing to commit Seppuku, Gurîn saw this in her first time and was scared to death. Even realizing that “Tekkai” saved him from death, she roughtly interruped his “mom-saved-me-session” by yelling at Kumadori to never ever do such a foolish thing again, grabbed the knife and trew it away into a large distance.
While the others partly grinned about this “newby”-reaction, Kumadori was deeply touced about her big concern for him. So he promised to stop his attemps to commit Seppuku, which wasn´t that easy…
