Yay! This One-Piece badass-OC really won a contest in a german anime-fansite.
I´ve translated his description for you, so you can read who he is. Enjoy.

Chracater
Really brutal and blessed with a sharp mind, Kei Kyoku stays always alerted about intrigant foes and traitors. That´s why it´s almost imposssible fpr opponents to take him down or get even a part of his tresures by force. But nevertheless he managed to recruit a trustorthy crew…how and why are mysterious circumstances. His mostly strongly grumpy appeariance can be calmed down by a nice gampling-party, but no one ever shall offer him alcohol, because Kei Kyoku interprets this action as an attemp of an ambush. That´s why he would react totally agressively and highly demolished objects aren´t a rare result….
Kei Kyoku also has a disturbing likiness to show off his battle-strengh through bloody show-fights, plunderings and fights in general.
Although this behavior could fit to a lower nature of a bandit, Kei Kyoku nevertheless reached a high niveau of danger towards citizen and his so much hated marine.

Likes:
-gamblings of any kinds like card-games, kife-trowing, ring-fights, because Kei Kyoku strongly belives that these games sharpens, trains and challenges his reflexes, mind and physical strengh. An additional fun-feature for Kei Kyoku are the risky aspects of gambling.
A big exception are dring-games, because Kei Kyoku fears that his senses will become dull and unaware which can lead to fatal actions to the disadvantage to the pirate
- brutal show-fights, in which he´s the fighter, already demated several victims. But Kei Kyoku doesn´t face worthless opponents for a fight against him because Kei Kyoku doesn´t want to be called a coward when just slaughtering down weak ones.

Hates:
- when someone offers him a drink (normally something alcoholic), Kei Kyoku sees this action as an attempt to of an attack, which causes an extrelmy aggressive reaction
- since his devil-fruit-abilities Kei Kyoku avoids cold climatic areas, because this heavily restrics his reptilian human-animallistic and pure animalistic form during fights
- Kei Kyoku father (also a pirate and totally drunken) was lured with an interesting offer, which in real was a trap from the marines to execute him. When this occurred, Kei Kyoku as a teen and already fully understood the intrigant circumstances. Like a miracle he managed to escape from the marines.
Because Kei Kyoku never knew his mum he had to fight through his live morely badly than well. Through this hard times he developed the big affection towards gambling and the hate towards alcohol. As a life-long revenge, Kei Kyoku also has sworn to literally become “a thorn in the eye” for the marines. To truely follow this parole, Kei Kyoku named his crew the “Thorn Pirates”.
- to be cheaten during gambling-games. Even this is mostly an essential part of gambling and Kei Kyoku is known as a dangerous criminal he highly entrust his own luck and skills. Cheating is an action of cowardice and whoever dares to call him one, Kei Kyoku would beat down this person to pulp.

Devilfruit:

Like all zoan-users Kei Kyoku can transform himself in an half- and full animal.
This fruit strongly looks looks like a Cucumis metuliferus:

which he won through a game.
Through a rare chance of an overview into the “Book of the devil-fruits”, Kei Kyoku knows the appeariances and abilities of several fruits. He generally was interested into fruits, which fit in his “thorn in the marine´s eyes”-theme. Beween the spike-fruit (which Ms. Doublefinger has consumed), the modell thorny devil also was hightly interesting too. Although Kei Kyoku won this fruit in a fair and square way, the challenger didn´t wanted to loose such a precious item. Beeing aware of this reaction, Kei Kyoku quickly ate a piece of the devil-fruit before silencing the strongly protestating opponent in a brutal way.

Fighting abilities
The body:

Mainly through the many ringfights and knife-throwing-games, he gained a brutal style of wrestling and kives as weapons.
His hugely build and well trained body already allows Kei Kyoku in his bare human form to release enormous physical powers. In a cruel way he enjoys to break the opponent´s bones before finally finishing off them.
The “iron grip” is an especially kind of a headlock, which normally let snap the opponent´s neck.

The mind:
Although having this ammount of bare forces, Kei Kyoku still owns a very sharp and calculating mind. This stractically used during a fight, often brought a clear advantageand victory for Kei Kyoku and his crew. That´s why he hightly cares about him and why Kei Kyoku despises any mind-damaging drugs like alcolhol.

Throwing knives:
When Kei Kyoku faces quick or longer distanced opponents, he also likes to use small knives to pin the victims and imobilize their movements.
With knives Kei Kyoku also can fight pretty well in a close combat, because most of the people underestimate these small weapons with fatal consequences.
But against Logia-users this method is quite tricky, when the target can easily dodge the weapons by simply transforn into the element. To overcome this problem Kei Kyoku use special knices which blades are made of seastone, which surpress the devil-fruit-abilities and makes the opponent grap- and woundable again.

But because Kei Kyoku also is a fruit-user, he have to carefully handle with them and can´t constantly carry the special knives and his crewmembers have to hand out them when required. Thinking to use them againt their captain never would happen, because for the strong bond towards their capatin.
Devil-fruit-powers:
Thorny devils are spiky lizards. These spikes and thorns are much used in Kei Kyoku´s half- and full-animal form as a strong devensive protection (“Thorn-armor”), but also as several effective attacking-style. (like “Thorn-Fist). His lizard-tail similiars a mix between a whip and mace which is resonsible for the feared “Thorn slash”. The human-animal form is morly used for the attacks and defense, while the pure animal-form supports the fast moves and dodging-abilities. The last form isn´t that much liked by Kei Kyoku because he prefers to block than dodge attacks.

The iron thorn-leg:
A special protesis with thorns and a claw can be used for severe hits and kicks, but also for painless blockings, if (in a rare case) Kei Kyoku is fallen to the ground.

Weaknesses:
Even a badass like Kei Kyoku who owns this large ammound of abilities has his weaknesses.

Wasser/seastones:
Like any devilfruit-user, his powers will be surpressed by the sea-water and –stones.
And he can´t swim.

Coldness:
Hen Kei Kyoku activates his fruit-powers he´s (through the animal´s kind) in a disadvantage when beeing in a cold surrounding. This will cause a slowdown upto a compleate blocking of his movements when beeing in this form for a too long time.
That´s why Kei Kyoku worst possible enemy is Kuzan (Aokiji). (The ice-fruit is kinda selfexplaining or?) To the “misfortune” of Kei Kyoku, the admiral faced him in a serious fight in which Kei Kyoku barly escaped with his live.
But the price was his left leg, which was completely frozn off but also the huge traumatic fear to remeet his “natural enemy” one day. Sure Kei Kyoku knows hoe to hide/surpress his fear to keep up the impressive apperainace towards his crewmates but also the enemies. Pain in his leg´s leftover always “warns” the owner of the aproaching of Kuzan (Aokiji), so that´s why the piratecaptain still manages to be not caughted by the icy claws of the admiral. But for how long….

The missing leg:
Through the fight against Kuzan (Aokiji), the lost left leg has to be replaced by a stainless, thorny protesis with a claw. This stiff replacement reduces Kei Kyoku´s leg-movements a lot. But it also reduces a stable stand with makes it easier for opponents to take down Kei Kyoku to the ground when he´s forced to quickly spin around in a fight.

The missing eye:
During the numberous fights and quarrels, an unknown hit Kei Kyoku´s right eye with an acid-bomb. The eye-ball and the surrouning skin was heavily damages and Kei Kyoku lost the sight on that eye too. Because of this he can´t really see in a 3-dimensional way, which difficults the aiming with knives a lot. But skill still should not be underestimated, because Kei Kyoku still trains them in gambling-games an small contests to overcome this problem.


Special features:
Although Kei Kyoku lost a leg and an eye, he replaced them with unique items.
A stainless metallic protesis for his leg and a big, black pearl for his eye.
While the bel-replacement serves as an additional weapon, the pearl is used for menacing mental weaker people. Since the lost of his eye, Kei Kyoku can´t even blink anymore, which increase the creepyness. Although it´s a plain and simple pearl without any special power many people describe the eerie glare as a “black vortex” which can eat someone´s soul. That´s how Kei Kyoku came to his nickname “Black Eye”.
