One branch - two buds

One evening Fushishi felt especially distracted and almost missed his turn to take part in the play. With hasty movements he stumbled over the stage and just mangaged to do not completly mess up with his role-part. After the play his father entered the changing room, where Fushishi changed clothings for going home. The Tropius made a stern face and asked: “Fushishi, I know you havn´t your thought gathered together for the Kabuki-plays-de gozaru. But your last acting-part was way too close from being messed up-de gozaru!”
With a sight Fushishi replied: “I´m really sorry father and I´m also really upset to be not my old self anymore. But as you know, it´s my dear Shizuka-chan and my child, from whom I´m seperated from.”
He nervously scratched his head and added: “Sure-sure…I still have the responsibility to continue with my work…for the sake of our clan and theatre!” His father shook his head and asked. “Can´t you finally find a way how to solve this issue-de gozaru?”
Fushishi shrugged and shook his head: “I just have taken some day off for the marriage. I´m really grateful for this chance. But mother is right. While Shizuka has to go through the pregnancy, I have to make sure for a stable income for us both.” He looked up with a tired face and loudly thought: “Heh~…being almost the Aragoto-clan´s mascot isn´t always easy. I just can´t dissapoint the future audience.”

Shi-Jô-Usu nodded with a smile and patted his son: “That´s really honorful from you junior-de gozaru. But you will disapoint them with slacked off performances-de gozaru. And remember the words of your mother: They deserve the quality of the well-paid shows-de gozaru!” He stood up and before leaving the room, the Tropius said with a warm smile: “Enough with this for today my son-de gozaru. Get ready and come home with me-de gozaru! I´m sure we´ll find a solution for you and your dear wife- de gozaru.”
“Thank you very much for your patience father.” Fushishi gratefully bowed, before he finished his cloth-changing and followed the short Tropius.

At the Aragoto-residence, Shizuka happily chatted with the Glaceon, since she gained trust into Gureimai and already feel fond towards her. For and ice-Gijinka the Glaceon has quite a warm personality, which helped Shizuka to overcome her uneasyness towards foreign Gijinkas like the Glaceon.  “Gureimai-san, your suggested tea really did it´s job. I feel much better than before.” “My pleasure my dear. It´s good to see how you and the baby are developing. But may I ask you, when your entrusted healer will visit you again? I mean, I´m happy to support your with all the basic treatments, but haven´t you mentined about an Auditino, who´s specialized in supportive-treating Gijinka during pregancy-times?”
The female Venusaur nodded and replied: “Yes that´s true and if I´m not wrong, she´ll visit us tomorrow for another check-up. So far the previous ones turned out, anything is going fine.” She happily smiled, while gently rubbing her more and more becoming round belly. Soft movements from inside where felt. “Oh Arceus! It MOVED! I wish Fushishi-kun were just here” Shizuka said with an excited voice.

At the house entry, Shi-Jô-Usu and Fushishi just entered, while the two men head the joyous shouts from above. “Shizuka?! What happened? Fushishi shouted back, while dashing upstairs. Gureimai opened the door and Fushishi rushed througgh the room where Shizuka is laying. With bright eyes she said: “Our child just moved.” And with a lower voice she added: “Shh…if we´re quite maybe you can feel it too.” She offered her belly so Fushishi can gently place his hand on it. He whispered with a shaky voice: “I hope I didn´t scared our child. Shall I sing something?” Shizuka giggled and said: “A nice idea, it hears daddy´s voice way too rarely.” “She´s right…” Fushishi though with guilty feelings and begun to hum a traditional melody with his deep and calm voice. Than again a small kick replied his singing and Fushishi beamed at his wife with joy. “I thank Arceus to witness this joyous moment. And I thank you for being part with it Shizuka-chan…

The next morning Atsuko arrived and asked the pair about anything if something special happened or not. She also spoke with Gureimai: “Thank you very much for helping out the soon-to-become family with your wide ranked knowledge.” “We all are a family Atsuko-san. And I´m happy to serve with my gathered skills…but honestly it´s good to know to have someone professional like you, when it comes about pregnancy-treatments.” The Auditino gently smiled while bowing: “Too kind from you. Thank you very much. Well than Shizuka-chan, it´s time again for the regulair check-up.” She spoke towards the young Venusaur, while Shizuka is prepering to have a better pose for the Auditino. Fushishi helped her with posing and patiently waited.

Some deep-silent minuntes passed while the healer pressed her hands againt the belly. “Hm…it became quite lively late, or? That´s a good sign…” Now Atsuko gently pressed her sensitive hearing-organs against the belly: “..the heartbeat is also sounding healthy…” Now she whispered: “Hmm wait…the rhythm is slightly off-beat and abit to loud for just one.” She concentrated even more, while touching the area with her hands again. Than with an rosen eye-brow Atsuko looked to Shizuka, who looked at her with a pretty worried face, while Fushishi and Gureimai observed the whole scenario with concerned face-experessions. The healer shook her head in slight disbelief and smiled: “Shizuka-san, Fushishi-san, you two may be very surprised, but I just discovered that you´ll become parents of not one, but TWO children…there´re twins inside you my dear!”
“Twi-twiins~ you´re saying?!” Both Venusaurs replied. “Oh my, that´s pretty unexpected…” Gureimai whipsered. Abit nervously Atsuko explained “I couldn´t sense anything earlier, considering the time, the child – or in your cases- the children needed to grow when to actually be able to feel or hear something like that.” Fushsihi happily laughed: “Shihii~…I see Shizuka-chan…I guess that´s one reson why inside of you the life became quite lively lately. I bet mother and father will be very happy about this too. Just wait for their faces, when hearing these great news.” He beamed. “Not to forget mine Fushishi-kun.” Shizuka replied with a smile.

Atsuko smiled at them and asked Gureimai with a polite bow: “May I speak with you for a few minutes please?” “Sure why not?” the Glaceon smiled and said to the pair: “If you need something, please call me okay? I guess to have a short exchangement with Atsuko-san…from healer to healer…” The two female Gijinka left the room and Atsuko said with a low voice: “It´s good to have you near them during the past months, since I couldn´t daily support Shizuka-san and Fushishi-san. It´s rare to have joung mothers with twins these days and I´m happy to be lucky to treat these two…or better these four.” She added with a wink, but with a concerned face the Auditino continued: “But to be honest, I´m abit worried about Shizuka-san. She´s quite fragile…handling a twin´s birth? Through my healer-job-experience I sadly had to witness several other joung and fragile mothers who already barely managed to endure the birth of just one child. Thanks to Arceus who blessed my assistence and my skills, most of them survived the difficulties…” Gureimai listened to her and said: “That´s really worrying, if even you do have your concerns about this outcome at the end. I wonder how I shall help you, but maybe I can gather some knowledge at Gale Springs, if you mean to ask this.”
The Auditino nodded and replied: “That´s an exellent idea. I hardly got the chance to travel around and collect some other region´s medical knowledge. But since I´ve heard, that you´re an explorer-healer I guess you have a bigger chance to do this job.”
Gureimai nodded and said: “Sure I´ll do this. But we need somone, who can replace me during the absence…BUT also to do not worry Sizuka-san and Fushishi-san..that would cause too much stress for them. Maybe we´re lucky enough that anything will come to a fine end.” She tried a cheering smile. The Auditino thought for a while and finally made up her decision: “Gureimai-san. Maybe it´s finally time for me to fully concentrate at these two, while my co-healer will cover up my place at my healing-center. That would be the best – especially for Shizuka-san, because to entrust the unborn children to another new person will be a difficult thing in this short time.” 
“Than things are finally settled now Atsuko-san? Than we shall inform the pair about the slight caring-changement now, okay?” Gureimai asked while Atsuo nodded.

Both healer returned to the room and Gureimai explained  the freshly made plan: “Okay my dears. Since we all here are dealing with the birth of twins, some small changements were planned to make. Nothing special. While I have to return to Gale Springs for gathering deeper medical informations, Atsuko-san will cover up my part here. I hope that´s okay for you two.”
Fushishi nodded, but Shizuka asked. “Did something bad happened? Because that sound quite like a rushed action now….umm…yes I´m happy that Atsuko can cover up your part here, Gureimai-san.” The Auditino replied with a gentle voice. “Not in any way my dear. It´s just the fact, that twins are quite rare nowadays and Gureimai is the more experiented one when it´s about gathering over-regional knowledge, while I´m also having you under my medical care in a deeper manner.” With a relieved sight Shizuka relaxed again, while Fushishi helped her to get a more comfy position.
